Day 01 - Negombo

Arrival – Received by Guide who can speak fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi, Urudu, Arabic and Malayalam.

Transportation- In brand new Japanese Air-conditioned Coach with luggage facility.

On the western coast of Sri Lanka, you'll find the picturesque city of Negombo. It features stunning beaches perfect for swimming, surfing, and snorkelling. Day 02 & 03 - Jaffna

Overnight stay in a Star Class Hotel in Jaffna.

Jaffna is a historically rich city that is home to important cultural landmarks like the Jaffna Library, which was rebuilt following a devastating fire in 1981. Visitors can see traditional ceremonies and processions at one of Sri Lanka's most well-known Hindu temples, the Nallur Kandaswamy Temple. The city's cuisine is a highlight, with popular dishes like Jaffna crab curry and Jaffna mango. A great place to look around and buy fresh produce and local crafts is the vibrant and busy Jaffna Market. Jaffna's must-do activity is a scenic boat ride to the enchanting Nagadeepa Island. Ancient Buddhist and Hindu temples as well as a relaxing beach can be found on this island. Jaffna is a fascinating destination for tourists because of its fascinating history, mouthwatering cuisine, and distinctive attractions.

The Nagabhooshani Amman Temple is a revered Hindu temple located on the island of Nainativu, just off the coast of Jaffna. It is believed to have been built during the reign of the Chola dynasty and is dedicated to the goddess Nagabhooshani Amman. Visitors can witness traditional Hindu rituals and ceremonies here, and the temple's stunning architecture is a sight to behold. The island itself is steeped in history and is also home to a Buddhist temple and a mosque, making it a unique and fascinating destination to visit.

Day 04 -  Trincomalee

Trincomalee is a must-visit destination located on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka. The town is known for its stunning beaches, natural harbor, and the iconic Koneswaram Temple.
The Koneswaram Temple is a renowned hindu temple that dates back to 3rd century BCE. It is considered one of the most important Shiva temples in Sri Lanka. The temple offers breathtaking views of the coastline. Visitors can explore the temple's intricate architecture and sculptures and witness the daily pooja rituals.
Trincomalee is also known for having some of the most stunning beaches in Sri Lanka. Nilaveli Beach is best known for its crystal-clear waters and soft sandy shores. Snorkeling, scuba diving, and a variety of other water sports are available for guests to participate in.
Other main attractions in Trincomalee include the Kanniya Hot Springs, Fort Frederick, and the War Cemetery.

Day 05 - Kandy

After Breakfast we go to Kandy

Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden

Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is a lush paradise located just outside of Kandy. Established in 1821, it is Sri Lanka's most extensive botanical garden, covering over 147 acres. Peradeniya botanical garden is home to over 4,000 plant species, including rare orchids, palms, and spices. Visitors can stroll along tree-lined paths and marvel at the Royal Palm Avenue, one of the garden's most iconic landmarks. The garden also features a stunning collection of exotic trees. Admire the towering Javan fig tree, which is over 130 years old and also a popular movie location. See the Cannonball tree's large spherical fruit and the Talipot palm, which blooms once every 30-100 years. Explore the aromatic Spice Garden and discover the herbs and spices used in Sri Lankan cuisine. Visit Kandy City

Kandy is a city that has a rich and proud history, and it is located in the central province of Sri Lanka. Main attraction of the Kandy is the Temple of the Tooth where one of Lord Buddha's tooth is being kept.  The Temple of the Tooth is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is widely regarded as one of the most important Buddhist temples in existence. A dress code applies for entering the temple. Another main tourist spot is Kandy Lake.  Kandy Lake is a man-made lake that was constructed in 1807. Enjoy a walk around the lake and enjoy scenic views of the city & sorrounding hills. You can visit the Old Town and discover the bustling markets, colorful shops, and traditional crafts. 

Day 06 - Nuwara Eliya

Next we go to Nuwara Eliya - Stay overnight in a star class Hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka, situated 1,868 metres above sea level. This city was once a summer retreat for the British colonialists.  Nuwara Eliya is nicknamed 'Little England' Because of the town's striking similarities to England's architecture, gardens, and climate.  The area is well known for its tea plantations which produce some of the finest teas in the world. The rolling hills covered in tea bushes offer breathtaking views, and the aroma of freshly brewed tea fills the air. You can tour the tea estates and a tea factory to learn about the tea-making process, from plucking the leaves to the final packaging, and even taste some of the teas.

Hiking, camping, and golfing are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed to the fullest in Nuwara Eliya, thanks to the cool climate and lush greenery. Nuwara Eliya is a must-see destination for anyone travelling to Sri Lanka for a truly unique experience due to its remarkable history, breathtaking scenery, and enchanting atmosphere.

Visit to Seethadevi Temple, Seetha Eliya

The stream that runs from the hill catered to the needs of Shri Seethadevi during her stay at Ashok Vatika. She is said to have bathed in this stream. About a century ago, three idols were discovered in the stream, one of which was that of Seetha. It is believed that the idols have been worshipped at this spot for centuries.

Now there is the temple for Lord Rama, Shri Seethadevi, Shri Luxshmana, and Shri Hanuman by the side of this stream. It is interesting to note that footprints akin to Lord Hanuman's are found by this river, and some are of small size and some are of large size, which tells us of the immense powers of hanuman transforming himself into any size.

Day 07 -  Kataragama

Kataragama Murukan Temple is a revered Hindu temple located in the southern part of Sri Lanka. It is dedicated to the Hindu god Murugan, also known as Skanda, the son of Shiva and Parvati. According to Hindu mythology, Murugan is the god of war, victory, wisdom, and love, and is worshipped by devotees seeking blessings for success and prosperity in life. The temple is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka and attracts thousands of Hindu devotees from all over the world, who come to offer prayers, make offerings, and participate in traditional Hindu rituals and ceremonies. The famous Kataragama Esala Perahera festival, held annually in July or August, is a grand spectacle of music, dance, and processions, where the temple's sacred chariot is paraded through the streets. The temple is surrounded by lush forests and is also home to a sacred lake, where devotees take holy dips to purify themselves before entering the temple. With its spiritual significance, stunning architecture, and picturesque location, Kataragama Murukan Temple is a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a unique and culturally rich experience in Sri Lanka.

Day 08 - Colombo
